Does anyone know how often student loans are compounded for BC and Canada student loans? I find it sickening that some people can owe thousands of dollars and yet they can't find out exactly how their amortization is calculated. Anyone know the compounding period? Is it bi-annually like a mortgage? Annually to make the rate stated that ACTUAL rate? Monthly like a profiteer would charge?
